Ms. Bachmann is the CEO of the North Carolina Market for UnitedHealthcare Community & State, serving nearly 6.4 million Medicaid members in 26 states, plus Washington D.C. UnitedHealthcare is a division of UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH), a diversified health and well-being company. Ms. Bachmann is an accomplished Executive with extensive, progressive experience in healthcare administration, business operations, healthcare delivery systems, business development, technology, clinical strategy and regulatory/legislative affairs. Ms. Bachmann was named an Outstanding Woman in Business by Triad Business Journal in 2017. She earned a Master of Health Science (MHS), Health Services Administration from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and graduated from the Executive Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
